Expedition Photography

If travelling with a camera, you may find the article I have written on Expedition Photography, outlining some of the common problems and solutions, to be of interest. I am happy for you to pass this information on provided it has not been altered in any way.

Care for your print(s)

It is an unfortunate fact that, with time, inks can fade and lose their vibrancy.  My Fine Art prints are produced by the Giclée printing method using the latest pigmented inks on high quality acid free paper to give a fine lasting print.

To maximise the colourfastness of this print it should not be exposed to direct sunlight and it should be kept in a glass frame to protect from humidity, cigarette smoke and other atmospheric contaminants.  With professional framing and suitable care, the Giclée prints I produce should give a lifetime of enjoyment.

Photography Courses

You need to understand about photography and your camera to get the best from it. To help achieve this, a basic one-day course is planned for Saturday 17th April 2010 - see here for details.
