by Anthony Milbank
A stunning coffee table book showcasing the birds of the uplands
Anthony spent 30 years transforming Barningham Estate into a wildlife haven: he created lakes and ponds, planted woodland and hedges, restored wild flower meadows and managed the predators. This conservation work has created habitats suitable for many species of birds. As his final project at Barningham, Anthony commissioned and wrote the text for a photographic book to illustrate the wild life that he loved. We have now completed the book for him and this summer will see a limited edition published. The book will be 325mm x 275mm, case-bound, with a dust jacket.
David Williams, the photographer, has spent two years in snow, rain, hail and sunshine capturing the birds in their natural habitat and his resulting photographs are quite remarkable. The book is an ornithological dream containing 160 pages of photographs, showing Barningham Estate through the seasons. There are over 260 photographs of more than 100 species of birds, insects and the managed habitats enabling this diversity.
ALL PROFITS from the sale of this book are to be donated to Marie Curie. We hope to raise several thousand pounds to support the charity that did so much to support Dad at the end.
