In support of Photographers 4 Charity, I am offering a free day of wedding photography for one deserving couple in Co. Durham at their wedding in October, November or December 2009. Full details of the reasons and how to apply are on the Photographers 4 Charity web site. This offers extends to coverage of the wedding and a DVD of all the images taken on the day. As the press release states, couples must promise to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and submit their nomination. (A minimum of £300 is suggested - with a wedding party of 30 that is £10 per person or even less with Gift Aid).

So, if you know of a couple that you believe deserve free wedding photography, either because they've been touched by cancer in some way or maybe in these hard times would not be able to afford a photographer then, in the first instance, please contact me saying why you think your couple should have free photography. All nominations received by the end of June 2009 will be considered and the selected couple(s) will be advised and contacted to arrange details.

Also, as liaison contact for Co. Durham, I will ensure that all photographers who are offering their time will get matched up with as "local" a couple as possible. The photographer and each couple will then make contact to agree timings, location etc.
